On March 15, 1987, the Farmacias Carol chain was founded with the acquisition of its first branch located at Gustavo Mejía Ricart #24 in the Ensanche Naco neighborhood of Santo Domingo. By then, this pharmacy was already named Carol and had a loyal clientele who trusted it for dispensing products.
